Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate Kevin Lang has issued his first annual report to people across Edinburgh North & Leith.
Most Liberal Democrat MPs at Westminster produce annual reports for their constituents as a way of keeping people up to date with their work in Parliament. Now Westminster candidate Kevin Lang has issued his own report, with over 40,000 copies being sent to homes across Edinburgh North & Leith.
Kevin is the first parliamentary candidate in Edinburgh North & Leith to issue such a report for local people, which details some of the key issues he has been campaigning on, including affordable housing, renewable energy, protecting local post offices and cutting crime.
Kevin said, "The Liberal Democrats work hard all year round and not just at election time, keeping in touch with regular newspapers and Focus newsletters. However, I hope my decision to be the first local candidate to issue an annual report in this way will help local people understand more about the issues I am campaigning on.
"The feedback I have received has been very positive. This kind of report is something I intend to produce every year as a candidate and hopefully after the next General Election as Edinburgh North & Leith's new local MP."
